Madeira Island is one of Europe's best-kept secrets for outdoor rock climbing. With its dramatic volcanic coastline, towering basalt cliffs, and year-round mild climate, the island offers a truly unique climbing experience that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

Our guided rock climbing runs at the sea cliffs of Ponta de São Lourenço on the eastern tip of the island. Every session is a beginner session — if you have never touched rock, that is exactly who it is built for.

Unlike the big tour platforms, we are the real local climbing team. We live here, we climb here, and we know the routes at Ponta de São Lourenço hold by hold. When you book with us, the person answering is the person who will be at the crag.

Our outdoor climbing in Madeira is a beginner session — for people who have never climbed, or who have only ever climbed indoors. Beginner is all we run right now.

It works for couples, families, friend groups and solo travellers. If you can walk to the crag (10–20 minutes over easy terrain), you can climb with us.

Your safety is our absolute priority. All our guides are certified climbing instructors with years of experience on Madeira's rock. We use professional-grade equipment that is regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards.

Before each climb, you'll receive a thorough safety briefing covering rope systems, belay techniques, and communication signals. We maintain small group sizes to ensure personal attention and maximum safety for every participant. The routes are weather-dependent — if conditions aren't safe, we'll reschedule at no extra cost.
