About this Spot

The most popular sport climbing crag in Madeira with 25 routes across two sectors. The cliff is formed by a lava flow on the left bank of the Socorridos valley. A unique feature is the Levada dos Piornais (water channel) that crosses practically at the top of the cliff. The multi-pitch sector "Multi-pitch dos Amigos" offers longer routes up to 4 pitches. Great variety of grades from beginner-friendly 4a to challenging 7b.
